Continental Textiles is a clothing and accessories wholesaler. They supply swimwear, loungewear, activewear and accessories to some of Europe’s largest fashion retailers from their head office in Manchester. In 2020, the business moved into new premises and contacted Pay As You Go Print to replace multiple old desktop printers with some larger shared machines for the new open plan office. They were also looking for a sustainable solution to reduce their paper usage.

What we provided

Our first step was to visit the new offices to assess the client’s current printing arrangements and discuss their future requirements. After talking through the options we recommended two large full colour multi-functional printers to be located in the shared open plan office space. Jonathan told us they often needed to sign, scan and email documents so the built-in scanning facility would allow the team to do this direct from the printer.

The new printers also met the business’s environmental objectives by offering double-sided printing to use less paper and toner cartridges that would last longer than their current supplies. With service and maintenance included in the agreement, our proposal worked out to be more cost-effective than their existing printing arrangement.
